This community service activity aimed to empower PKK members through training on the use of English-based digital platforms to support the realization of a digital village. The methods applied included socialization, workshops, mentoring, and evaluation. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ ability to operate digital applications, understand English terms commonly used in online platforms, and promote local products more effectively. In addition, the participants demonstrated increased confidence in utilizing technology to support economic and tourism activities in the village. This program successfully enhanced digital literacy and English competence among PKK members, contributing to sustainable community empowerment and the development of a digital-based village.
Lely Indah Kurnia Mutrofin Rozaq Bimo Setyawan Ahmad Mustofa Rizqi Khoirunisa Subekhi Hadi Purnomo Copyright (c) 2025 Lely Indah Kurnia*, Mutrofin Rozaq, Bimo Setyawan, Ahmad Mustofa, Rizqi Khoirunisa, Subekhi Hadi Purnomo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-10-24 2025-10-24 5 1 1 7 10.55047/prima.v5i1.1986 Ekonomi Keluarga Lewat UMKM: Kiprah IRT di Desa Karave Kabupaten Pasangkayu https://ojs.transpublika.com/index.php/PRIMA/article/view/2003
This study aims to examine in depth the impact of mothers' involvement in MSMEs on family economic conditions and the role of mothers who are MSME entrepreneurs in shaping social change in the Karave village community. This study is descriptive in nature, with the aim of describing and analysing the contribution of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) run by housewives to increasing family income in Karave Village, Pasangkayu Regency. Based on the results of research in Karave Village, it can be concluded that mothers play an active role in increasing family income through micro-business activities, particularly in the culinary sector. Housewives are also able to become economic actors who support the stability and financial sustainability of their families. The data shows that most housewives who are MSME entrepreneurs earn an income above IDR 2,200,000, with a total of 9 respondents. Meanwhile, only 2 people are in the middle income category (IDR 1,500,000–IDR 2,200,000), and 4 people are in the low income category (less than IDR 1,500,000). These findings indicate variation in income, but the majority of respondents have been able to generate a fairly high income from their businesses. Overall, the contribution of housewives to family income reaches 79.50 per cent. Village governments and related agencies are advised to continue supporting and empowering housewives who are MSME entrepreneurs through training in entrepreneurship, business management, and financial management.
Bella Octaviana Putri Kalvin A. BK teachers are expected to utilize digital media to educate students in a communicative, creative, and contextual manner. This community service program aimed to enhance the competencies of secondary school BK teachers in Payakumbuh City in using Canva as an educational medium for preventing sexual harassment among adolescents. The activity was conducted on August 9, 2025, at the Payakumbuh City Education Office by a team of lecturers and students from the Guidance and Counseling Professional Education Program, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang (FIP UNP), as part of the Program Integrasi Prodi dan Nagari (PIPN). A total of 38 BK teachers participated in the hands-on training, which resulted in five digital posters themed on sexual harassment prevention. The activity results showed significant improvement in three aspects: technical skills in designing with Canva, internalization of moral values such as respect for personal boundaries and consent, as well as the ability to convert preventive counseling messages into visual media that is attractive and contextual for adolescents. This activity effectively strengthened the dual role of guidance and counseling teachers as skilled digital literacy agents while simultaneously protecting students through visual campaigns in schools, aligned with national policies on sexual violence prevention.
Nurfarhanah Nurfarhanah Azahra Hardi Cusinia Rahmi Dwi Febriani Lisa Putriani Triave Nuzila Zahri Indah Sukmawati Violanisa Maharani Copyright (c) 2025 Nurfarhanah Nurfarhanah*, Azahra Hardi Cusinia, Rahmi Dwi Febriani, Lisa Putriani, Triave Nuzila Zahri, Indah Sukmawati, Violanisa Maharani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-12-08 2025-12-08 5 1 20 30 10.55047/prima.v5i1.2010 Pelatihan Penerapan Internal Control dan Petty Cash Bagi Siswa SMA Harapan Jaya https://ojs.transpublika.com/index.php/PRIMA/article/view/2015
Education serves as a crucial long-term investment for developing skills and improving quality of life in Indonesia. SMA Harapan Jaya requires particular attention regarding basic accounting education, as interviews with accounting teachers revealed that students receive only fundamental accounting material, lacking knowledge of internal control systems and petty cash accounting. This community service activity aimed to enhance students’ understanding of internal control importance and petty cash accounting systems through available accounting methods. The training employed a three-phase approach: theoretical explanation of internal control and cash management principles, practical problem-solving exercises, and quiz-based feedback assessment. The activity was conducted on-site at SMA Harapan Jaya on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., targeting 29 grade XI-1 students majoring in Mathematics and Sciences. Participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm with excellent interaction throughout the session and achieved satisfactory comprehension of the presented material. The school provided cooperative support by supplying necessary facilities and infrastructure, while quiz and questionnaire results confirmed successful knowledge transfer. The training objectives were successfully achieved, with participants expressing high satisfaction with both the training content and instructional methods. The activity produced three key outputs: an article published in an ISSN journal, intellectual property rights (IPR), and products/prototypes, contributing to educational advancement in accounting education at SMA Harapan Jaya and addressing the identified gap in students’ understanding of internal control systems and petty cash management.
Yanti Yanti Yoan Tobing Pricillia Anastasia Copyright (c) 2025 Yanti Yanti*, Yoan Tobing, Pricillia Anastasia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-12-08 2025-12-08 5 1 31 41 10.55047/prima.v5i1.2015 Evaluasi Pelatihan Wisata Ramah Lingkungan dan Digitalisasi pada Desa Sugihmukti, Kecamatan Pasirjambu, Kabupaten Bandung https://ojs.transpublika.com/index.php/PRIMA/article/view/2019
The Faculty of Economics and Business at Telkom University conducted a community service program titled "Evaluation of Eco-Friendly Tourism Training and Digitalization Implementation at Sugihmukti Village, Pasirjambu District, Bandung Regency" with the objective of enhancing sustainable tourism practices and digital capabilities among community members, tourism managers, and village stakeholders. The operational characteristics of these three types of businesses are not the same. In accounting for all types of businesses, journals are the first accounting record. Journals play a crucial role because they significantly influence financial statements, the final product of accounting. Mistakes in journal entries will result in errors in the preparation of financial statements and will certainly mislead users of financial statements in decision-making. Younger generations, such as students, need an understanding of accounting journals, especially journals for trading companies, to face future challenges. The problem faced by partners is that many students are interested in accounting topics but have limited time in class, making it impossible to practice questions in depth. The solution to this problem is for Kristoforus High School, in collaboration with the UNTAR PKM team, to provide training on journaling systems for trading companies. The PKM activity method is divided into several stages. First, developing a module on journaling systems for trading companies. Second, providing general concepts regarding journaling systems for trading companies. Third, the program provides specific conceptual guidance on journaling systems for trading companies, along with sample questions. The final stage involves independently completing practice questions and quizzes. The PKM activity, conducted offline on September 23, 2025, at Kristoforus High School, proved effective in addressing partner issues. This was evident in the students' enthusiasm and satisfactory quiz results.
Sofia Prima Dewi Levina Setiawan Michelle Tan Copyright (c) 2025 Sofia Prima Dewi*, Levina Setiawan, Michelle Tan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-12-19 2025-12-19 5 1 60 69 10.55047/prima.v5i1.2037
